Aussie Nash Hash 2011 - Red Dress Run

The Red Dress Run is a charity event held in conjunction with Aussie Nash Hash 2011. Participants, male and female, will all be slipping into their finest red dress (with accessories, of course) to head out on trail through central Hobart.

The major recipient charity will be the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal, with two other small, local charity programs also receiving much-needed funds.

blatMAJOR CHARITY
This most iconic Tasmanian animal is facing extinction due to a contagious cancer that spreads through biting. The Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) was first observed in the State's north-west in 1996 and is estimated to have reduced the Tasmanian Devil population by 80%.

Funds raised by this Red Dress run will go toward supporting the immediate research and population management activities of the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program.
